About the Text to Speech Tool
Our Text to Speech (TTS) tool uses your browser's built-in voice synthesis capabilities to convert written text into spoken audio. This is a great tool for accessibility, for proofreading content by listening to it, or for simply having articles or notes read aloud to you. You can choose from the different voices available in your browser to find one that you like.
How to Use This Tool
- Enter Text: Type or paste the text you want to be read into the text area.
- Choose a Voice: Select a voice from the dropdown menu. The available voices are provided by your operating system and browser.
- Play Audio: Click the "Play" button to start the audio. The button will change to "Pause", which you can click to temporarily stop the speech.
Note: The quality and variety of voices depend entirely on the browser and operating system you are using.
